Welcome

In 2014, we bought a 300-year-old house in the middle of the village of Cavigliano in Ticino, Switzerland. After a major renovation phase, we are now able to open the first rooms of our Bed and Breakfast.

It was important for us to preserve as much of the original character of the house as possible by, for example, patiently working to reveal old lime paint on the walls. Another focus was on the reuse of materials and objects that we found in the house. For example, the parquet flooring in the guest rooms was made from giant, wooden wine barrels that were stored in the cellar. Thanks to Natalie Luder's professional background as a designer, we attach great importance to the selection of the furnishings. Furniture by renowned designers, specially designed pieces and found objects invite you to linger in this lovingly curated space.

We are looking forward to welcoming you as a guest and serving you a great coffee in the morning.

Our guestrooms are situated in an old casa ticinese with a traditional courtyard in the heart of the village of Cavigliano. Locarno and Ascona are just 15 minutes away by train or by car.

In the village, you‘ll find a pharmacy and a small grocery shop with a great selection of local produce. In the neighboring village of Verscio, reachable by foot, you‘ll find a wonderful bakery, a COOP supermarket and a post office. There are several restaurants nearby.
